The wools by the Nizam and Mercia are included, but those by the Erato, W anganui, La Hogue, Ashmore, Serapis, and Darling are excluded,- being, .too late. The market is dull. . The Khedive has signed the = new Egyptian Constitution, which is based on the scheme devised by Lord Duf ferin. A number of military arrests have been made m Russia, and it is reported that a conspiracy has been discovered aiming at the abolition of the Imperial autocracy, and the establishment of a Republic. The Amsterdam Exhibition has beea opened, although a large number of the courts are very far from being ready. Those ocenpied by Holland, the Dutch colonies, New South Wales, and Victoria, are the only ones which arr m a condition even approaching completion. The ceremony of opening was an uneventful one. After the pet> formance of a cantata, the Burgomaster delivered an address, after which the King declared the Extiibitiou Open. The King and Qaeen were received m the Victorian Court by Messrs Ma^haiu, Levey, Waynnee, Spensecy, and Gererboom, and Dr Serrarier. They examined the staple productions .exhibited, and expressed themselves surprised at the size of the gold trophy, representing the actual bulk of the gold exported from the colony since the discovery of the goldfields. The Queen promised to pay } a second visit. .la the New South Wales court, their Majesties were received by Sir Saul Samuel, Messrs Want, Hoaton,and Leonard, who explained the exhibits illustrating the resources of the colony. • His Majesty displayed eansiderable knowledge on the subject of Australian resources. The Hon. Mr Holt, baring protested against tho private character of the Exhibition, refused to attend the opening ceremony. The Exhibition is not nearly equal to either the Sydney or Melbourne Exhi* bitions.. ' : Owing to the accident which befell her Majesty, the Prince of Wales will open the Fisheries Exhibition on the 12 th instant; . -■■' - • A store of dynamite bombs has been discovered m the town of . smolenslr, situated m Southern Russia, and a number of arrests have been made m connection with the seizure.
