This shows a very 1 ! singular state of the public mind; it shows that there is relative to those matters a certain amount of dullness, a great eagerness to compete for attention,; and no one >?ets it except b? giving, as! it were, so many strokes of the hammer to compel people to know what is goingon." These words of- wisdom should sink deep into the heard of every man of business. I
