The nominations sent by the last 'Frisco mail for the colony were— 2o4 English, 171 Irish, 183 Scotch, 9 foreigners j total, 567 souls, equal to 491 adults. The amount of passage money deposited was £1892 3s 9d. The total number of immigrants nominated to date since the renewal of assisted immigration is 2242 English, 2211 Irish, 1383 Scotch, and 145 foreigners ; total, 5981 souls, equal to 5207 adults. The amount of fees received was £26,491 13s 7d. Of the returns sent Home this month, 145 are for single men, and 128 for sin^lo women. Up to date the returns have been 1401 single women, the remainder being families. .
