From the English papers we have an accotmt of a novel hunt r ear Bombay, at Kharigauro. Tbe Bombay fforx r hounds and thirty horsemen took the field early one' morning, and after a. r littWdelay a hyena was started. > At first the' hyena and^hounds outpaced the hbrses, but after three mileJ the horses caught up. One of the fleetest horses £ then ran a -mile at top speed t6 break :>:t the liyena*B wind: ; Coming io <$ pool of water, the hyena went m andiaiddown, and the hounds came up and .drink v-'^ihffi^fiw^tiofihiJ'Bniinariita&uth. The pace had been tremendous. Some one threw a stone at the hyena.,. He "started again, and ran. f^.'!^^. the hounds and horses well up. He ddubVd several times, fas cute. as,a fo*,! 1 and finall^i I^"^scending ! a 'hill, the novel spectacle, presented, itself of the hyena walkingjHKe hounds talking close benind, andvthe horses close sbehind them, j Theie was not trot left m either of them.* Finally one of the horsemen 7ode at^him and knocked him down with his horses-' fore hoofs.
