FATA.L MINING ACCIDENT. FIVE MINERS BURIED. THE FAILURE OP THE SOUTH AUSTRALIAN HARVEST. (BY ELECXaiC TELEGRAPH. — COPYBIGHT.) (REUTERS T Eli EG RAMS.) Melbourne, April 25. A fall of stone occurred m the Ellen* borough Mine,at Eaglelrawk, last night. Five men, who were working at the time, were buried m the^debris. Two were found to have been crushed to death, but the other three were rescued, though seriously injured. The trustees of the Melodurne Library have decided m favour of the opening of that institution on Sundays. Obituary— Mr. R. Clarke. Adelaide April 25. The South Australian agricultural returns for the past season show that the yield of wheat was 730.000 bushels below last year. The total yield has be«?n 7,350,000 bushels, of which 3,650,000 are available for export, — the smallest quantity during the past twelve years.
