The Leaguers are becoming alarmed at the hostility shown by the American Press, and are moderating their threats of using dynamite. Esan, the treasurer of the Irish League, intends to permanently reside in America. The Times admires the decision of the Queensland Government in annexing aew Guinea, though ic is certain to provoke considerable discussion in the Souse of Commons. The Press generally disapprove of the annexation;
