Follow your chosen vocation, and that alone, whaterer temptations to speculation o rapid acquisition may present themselves ., . 3. Adopt no " tricks of trade," however sanctioned by custom, that involve deception or nntruthfulness. 4. Never incur a debt beyond your resources. 5. Always live within your income. 6. Devote a fixed portion of your income beforehand to charitable uses, to be employed and accounted for as systematically 'as family expenditure. The man who will regulate his business by such simple rules as these may free himself from the feversh oxciteraents of adventurous traffickers, and assure himself, mibh GddVblessing, of an .honest competency and a good name.
