It is stated at Alexandra that Mahuki's people are assembling; at Te Uira, nnd it ia believed that Mr Bryce will not btj allowed to go through unmolesied. An Alexandra telegram ot yesterday states lhat a meeting was called by the Ngatimaniapoto at Kuiti, and commences to-morrow. Wakanui has gone up to the meeting, which is considered important by the Natives. Mr Bryce will doubtless go through with Mr Hursthouse on the meeting being concluded.
