Flour is' unaltei'ed^ the 10s advance i reported some time ago still exists ; it is not, howeveif, likely that flour will fall more than lbs per- ton. Cheese sells, slowly at 6^d to '6^ per lb. Batter is m good supply, large quanties offering, but holders still ask lOd to 10£ d | no business is reported. j George Thomas reports as follows : ;— Maize, very little sale, and none ■offering, 4s 9d to 5s 3d is considered a ifair market rreport;-- flour, £11 to I £l1 10s; oatmeal, £14 jbrftn, £1 10s j pollard, £5 10s. j hams and bacon, BJd to 9|d j butter, 7|d to Bd. A good; inquiry exists .for $rass. seed. : For firstnclass perennial rye-grass seed ;4s 4s[9d is quoted ; t|ere (ha^e-r ,beon some transactions at the former figure ; cocksfoot is worth' 4d to 4^d. Butter, is quoted at 7^d to . Bi ; per V lb for prime potted. Potatoes, L 4 10s to 5 L 5 ; oats, 2s 6d to 2s Bd.
