INTERP.RPVJN.QIAL . • (TTKITBD PBES3 ASSOCIATION.) Dunedin, March 28. Imitation five-pound notes of the Union Bank of Australia are m circulation, two of them having been received at the Banks. These two were a photograph from the same note. The boy Main, who was the victim of the alleged illtrestment from his parents at Bouth Dunedin about a fortnight ago, died m the hospital to-day. An inquest will be held. " Captain" Pollock, of the Salvation Army, has arrived m Dunediu to begin operations, and has taken the Temper* ance Hall for three years. :fle is ac» companied by a lieutenant and his wife.
