Waste Lands Board.
The ordinary fortnightly meeting of the Waste Lands .Board was hold on Thursday last. Present — Messrs J. G. Holdsworth (chairman and commissioner), H. Bunny, and T. Mason". The schedule submitted showed that 1033 acres of laud had bean disposed of at the upset price of £1198, the cash payments thereon amounting to £386, A letter was received from the Kiwitea Highway Board, referring to the expenditure ot certain money on roads, and it *ras resolved tbat the proposed expenditure of £101 on roads indicated be agreed to. A memorandum was received from, the Chiet Surveyor, with schedule of sections recently surveyed, and it was resolved to include these sections m the next public auction sale of down lands. The board then rose.
