Feminine Depravity.

THE EFFECTS OF DRINK.

The Perth Inquirer ( W. A.. ) records that a most horrible and degrading sight was to be seen recently m Highstreet, Freemantle. A woman, when intoxicated, procured a glass of brandy, which* sho poured down the throat of her little child, hardly three years old . The result was that the poor little thing became miserably drunk— so much so that when the brutal woman, being unable to maintain her equilibrium, dropped her child on the lootpath, the miserable little one was literally unable to crawl on its hands and knees, but kept tumbling over at every attempt it made to move, while its feeble cries and piteous moans were heartrending.
