Our cable news containing the intelligence ot.the attack on Lady Florence Dixie has caused intense excitement. The savage attack on a defenceless woman reveals a depth of fcrntal cowardice, fortunate^ almost without parallel m the history of the centnry. Here we have the case of the attempted assassination of a charitable and distinguished lady by a couple of murder* our scoundrels* Lady Dixie had ! already raiised and distributed no less a sum than £50,000 m affording relief to the small iarmers and cotterb m the !
