PUBLIC WORKS TENDERS.

The Government architect is inviting tenders for the erection of Police Buildings at Foxtoti, Mauavatu. General conditions, specifications, and drawings may be seen at the Public Works Office, Architect's Bianch, Wellington, and. at Public Works Office, Wanganui, and Oouit-housft Poxton. Tenders acldmsed to the Hon. the Minster for Public Works, and marked outside " Tender for Police Buildings, Foxt.on," will be received at the Public Works ( 'ffice up to noon of Tuesday,' the 27th day of March, 1883. Telegraphic tenders will be received, piovided the original tender and deposit are lodged with the nearest District Engineer at the time above specified. The usual proviso is added that the lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. It is more than probable that aPalmerston contractor will spcir« the job.
