George Thomas reports -as follows : —Maize, very little sale, and none offering , ; 4s 9d •to 5s is , ; considere J a fair market report; fbur, £11 to £11 10s; oatmeal, £14 j brf.n, £4 10b ; pol!«rd, £5 10* ; hams and bacon, B|d to 9^d ; cheese, 6£d ; butter, 7^l to 3d. A good iuquiry exißts for grass seed. For firstnclass perennial rye-grass Seed 4s 6d t0. 45. 9d is quoted ; there have been some transactions at the former figure ; cocksfoot is worth 4d to 4£d. Butter is quoted at 7^d to 8d per lb for prime potted. Potatoes, L 4 10s to L 5 ; oats, 2s 6d to 2s 9d.
