AFFAIRS IN IRELAND.
(by electric telegraph. — copyright.) (reuter's telegrams.) i New York, March 14. Mr Egan, treasurer of the Irish Land League, has arrived here. He denies that he has flown from Ireland, .and that the funds of the League have been employed m connection with the Irish outrages. He is now conferring with the prominent supporters of the Irish Land League m this country. London, March 12. Intelligence is to hand that the alleged conspirator Byrne has now been released from custody. In the Dublin Canal the police found, several knives which are proved to have been used m various other murders which hare been committed. Mr Parnell has announced his intention of visiting America between Easter and Whitsuntide. <
