Stevens and Gorton's REPORT.
BOKO U<jti£ bALE.
Our sale on Tuesday was one of the most successful which we have yet held in Palmerston, or indeed in the district. We were obliged to arrange greatly increased accommodation for sheep, of which the yards were full, over 3000 having been entered. The denaaod for sheep was very brisk, and that for cattle had much improved, owing to the abundance of feed since the recent rains. There was a very large attendance of buyers, and prices in excess of reserves were in many instances reached. The sale was in all respects most successful, and. was pronounced such by buyers and v?ndors alike.
