In New South Wales the evil has become - so rampant that a Mr Tric?lett has brought a Bill into the Legislative Assembly of New South Wales v^ for the purpose, of gi'iDg 'greater protection to keepers of eating^honsep." The Bill contains but : one clause, which is' as follows :-r" Any. -PP? 80 ? 1 y*! 10 ? a * time of being, or after having been sup« plied "witb i victual's or refreshment by the keeper of any eating«house shall, on , deniand of payment therefore -being made by the keeper of such eat-ing-house, .or by his servant or agent, refuse to pay a reasonable sum for such I victuals or refreshment,,Bhall be deemed a rogue and a vagabond^ and shall' be liable to be dealt with «s such under the Act relating to vaerancy."
