Education Board.

Stinway Road School.— Sir William Fox reported, on behalf o( himself and Mr Sanson,- that they had investigated the matter, and recommended the Board to adhere to the site already, fixed. — Agreed to. Mr Notman's Resignation. — On the motion of Sir William Fox, seconded by Mr Rops, a resolution of regret at the retirement of Mr Notman, and recognising his usefulness as a. member of the Board, was carried unanimously.

Fitzherbert. — It was resolved to furnish tbe residents m this district with, information as to the mode, of forming a schoool district, and to apply to tb.3 Education Commissioners for, a site.

Halcombe.' — Application from the Committee for the playground to be drained, formed, and gravelled, and asking for a grant of £15 towards, the cost. — Ten pounds granted.

Bulls. — An application was received rfrom the ' ommittee for a vote of £& odd, beyond £10 already voted, for the addition of a verandah and doorway to the 1 school. — Resolved, That the Committee obtain tenders for the work.

I Greatford. — The Committee applied ;(;© have certain small repairs done to the school and residence. — Sir William Fox agreed to inquire into the matter. TKonui.: — Application from the Committee for spouting and two banks, with a covered drain, and also for the erection of a lobby.— Held over till next meeting.
