TENDERS FOR WORKS.
The Manawatu County Council, are inviting tenders for erecting two torty-feet spans and protection, works at the Awa Huri Bridge, which was partly demolished some eight mon'hs ago by a heavy flood, and which has been allowed to remain m statu quo ever since, rau-ih to the discredit of that body. Tenders will close at noon on Tuesdaj next, Plans and specifications can be seen- at the County Council Office, Foxton, the Manawatu Highway Board Office,. Pain mer6ton North, and at the Manchester Highway Board Office, Feildinp. The same local" body *also invites tenders^fefr the supply and delivery of gravel for the repairs of the Rangititei Line, Stpney Creek Koad, and the Karere Road. The advertisement appearing elsewhere contains the necessary par* ticulars.
