Earthquakes at Taupo.
(HERALD OORRKSPONDENT. ) Tattpo, Feb. 26. , A succession of earthquakes occurred here on Saturday mqht and Sunday morning, and some of them were very violent, and accompanied by rumbling nois«s. There was a dead calm, and it was raining heavily all the. time; The oscillation of the tarthquake's wave was from its old quarter — Tor^ariro.
