In consequence of some too intimate correspondence written by Mr McKenzie Ross to a married lady, said to be acting as stewardess on one of the Anchor Line of steamers, her lEother, who keeps the Grey mouth Hotel, m Kumara, last evening horsewhiopad the young man m the street. *The Times publishes the letter.
