Steamer Collision.
j ' (united press association.) LytteiiTon, Feb. 23. , The Omapere and Mahinapua collided m the inner harbour this afternoon. The Omapere was going out, and the Mahinapua coming m. The Omapere struck the Mahinapua three feet off her stern, on the starboard side, and smashed m her plates and broke the stem. She was not making any water.
