Adelaide flour, ex store, ■'has advanced Is, and is now at 35s 6d. j Adelaide wheat remains ab 52s 6d, ex store, and New Zealand wheat at 46s 6d to 50s Total quantity of wheat afloat for Great Britain, 2,180,000 quarters. Australian tallow is firm, and has advanced by 6d per cwt, and 'best beef is 42s ; best mutton, 45*. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) report as follows :— Wheat.—Market quiot. Adelaide is worth 52s per 4961b8; New Zealand,4ss. Best mutton tallow is worth £45 10s per ton ; best beef £41 10s. Leather.' —Market firmer. Best sides are worth lid. New Zealand Flax. — Market contiuues quiet at following quotations : — Fine quality, £28 {per ton ; median?, £25; common, £21. - Bank of England rate, 4 per cent. Market rate of discount 3^ per cent
