Fearful Occurrences.
A terrible accident is reported m the Roman ' Catholic chapel of 'Mangherow; County Sligo. Qn 'a recent Sunday morning ■while a ; violent; thunderstorm was racing J l the congregation' being on their knees, during mass, a flash of lightning-" stnicfc tnV "belfry, and broughHV down ihrougn tine' roof. A. dreadful panic ensued, bat fortunately only lasted a short time, the prie&t leav» ing the altar and V: oalniing the worshippers. The stone forming the roof crashed into the centre of the congregation, injuring many of them. One heavy stone , fell upon a farmer and broke his necki- the nian dying soon afterwards.
