Fatal Accident.

On Friday evening a fatal at cident happened to a farmer named Timothy Cronin, of Southbridge. He was work*, ing" a young horse m a dray, whinh was loaded with young blue~gum trees to be used m fencing, and, on coming down a hillock on the road, the horse began to trot, when the shaking of the poles startled him, and caused him to bolt. It is thought that the deceased was ia the act of getting down off the load to quiet the horse, when he slipped, and struck bis head against the wheel.
