INTERPRO VINCI ALf. (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, Jan. 26. Early this morning a house occupied by J. Uncker, music-teacher, was destroyed, by fire. Crompton's Implement Works had a narrow escape yesterday from destruction by fire. A stable occupied by Wm. Dorey, and full of hawkers's goods, was also destroyed by fire yesterday. At a meeting of St. Andrew's congregation last night, deputies from the Presbytery explained charges against Rev. C. Fraser, and read evidence taken. Three members of the congregation were appointed to wait upon Mr Fraser and ask him to give up the keys of the "church. At the Supreme Court this morning the case Moses V. Norwich Union In* surance Uomdany was resumed, and plaintiff was nonsuited on the point raised by Mr Harper yesterday, that the conditions of the . policy had not been complied with, inasmuch as a detailed statetaent of the damage had not been sent m. Dunedin, Jan. 26. An extremely success tul picnic was given to-day to about 4500 school children. 13 bags of sugar were Hied , to sweeten the tea made, and 300 gsA? lons of milk was drank.
