AUSTRALIA V. EN>L \ND. (kedter's telegrams.) (by electric telegraph copyright.) Melbourne, Jan. 2J. The cricket match between the English, and Australian teams was resumed toxday. The former continued their firbt innings, the total being 294. The Australians then went in for their first innings, which closed for a total of 114. At the close of to-day's play the Australians, in their second innings, had 1 scored 27 runs for the loss of one wicket. Later. Melbourne, Jan. 22. The match, England v. Australia, was continued here to-day, when the home team resumed their second innings. The bowling and fieldinar of the English* men was excellent, and the Australians were unable to save a one innings', Australian scpres ; First innings, 114 ; The Englishmen having scored 294 in their first innings, won the match by an innings with 37 ru ns t<o spare,
