1.0.0.F.M.U.

At a meeting held at Roe's Hotel Feilding last night by persons desirous of forming an Oddfellows' Lodge in that township, about twenty persons signed their intention to join the order. Brothers N.G. Relt, V.G. Cowper* and P.G.'s Scott and Gardiner, of the Mtmawatu Lodgp, accompanied by PG.W.W. Hale, of the Antipodean Lodge, Wellington, were present at the meeting, and met with a hearty reception. They were pleased to give all the information necessary for the opening of a lodge, and promised to do their utmost for tbeir Feilding friends. Soon we hope to sea this lodge thoroughly established, and we wish it every success. The Palmeraton visitors were taken over to Fei.'ding by that genial whip, T. Jordan, and returned well pleased with their visit and the drive.
