The Melbourne correspondent of the Hamilton Spectator writes : — " flere is the champion dog story. One morninsr, so the story goes, the Argus was thrown out to the collie, and who picked it up as usual, and shortly afterwards dropped it returning to his master paperless. The old farmer, it is said, tells with much glee how his dog knows him so | well, even to the extent of being acquainted with his political opinions,"
