At the Magistrates Court to-day, Kniggie proprietor of the Brunswick Hotel, was fined £10 and £2 costs on a" charge of adulteration of beer with sulphuric acid; From evidence it appears he had no wilful intention to adulterate, but that the jar m which. the beer waa. sold had previously contained sulphuric acid. It is probable a charge of Sunday trsding will eraenate from this case.
