Tawhiao left early this morning for Wangaehu, where a great reception awaits him; Arrangements had been made by a number of gentlemen to give him a private banquet. The Mayor received a telegram from Mr Bryce discountenancing a Publio reception, and hearing of this, the natives say he became offenaed end left. He proceeds next to Foxton, Wairarapa, and back to Waikato via Hawkeß Bay. .
