(BY TELEGKAPH) (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Patea, Th.s Day. The R.M Court has been occupied , all daj hearing a charge of forgery brought against Wm. Dale by the directors of the Patea Permanent Building Society, of which he was [ recently manager. The actual offence was altering the bank pass-book to make it appear that £271 15s had bsen paid m, whereas the correct amount was £11 15s. The defendant was conomittad for trial at the next sittings of the Supreme Court at New Plymouth, bail being allowed m himself at. £soo, and two securities at £250.
