THE VICTORIAN LOAN.
(BY KLBCTBIC TJEiEGBAPH—COPYBIOHT.) (rKUTBr's TBLEGBAMS.) Melbourne, This Day. Shipping wheat is firmer at 4s 9d to 4s lOd; malting barley 5s to 5s 3d. New Zealand oats under bond 2s 9d to 3s 3d. The demand for oats has slackened and prices have declined. Arrived this morning the P and O Steamer Clyde with the Suez mail. London, Yesterday. Tenders for the Victorian Loan were opened to-day. Scarcely half a million was tendered < for and prices ranged from 100 to 102 J. Tenders are invited tiil Monday next for the unallotted balance at par.
