Uver forty witnesses are to be examined. The only evidence of importance yet transpired is that of 8, Goldsbro' who made the post mortem. He dei osed that the wound on HamiU ton's head corresponded exactly with the axe Mrs Hamilton was seen carry* ing on the morning after Hamilton's death. He also deposed that the wound could not have been cnused by a fall on to a bedstead, as asserted by Mrs Hamilton.
