TO CORRESPONDENTS.
We beg to inform “ A Pedestrian ” that we cannot publish mere personalities, especially under an assumed signature. We have no room for Mr. Duncan’s letter respecting the Picton Volunteers. Judging from the rate of progress of other rifle corps in the province, we think that our correspondent could not expect more to be done in “ sixteen days.” •‘Christopher Sly” only came to hand just before we went to press.
