In the Council, this week, it was unanimously agreed that the members should receive no pay for their services as Provincial Councillors. The Executive Council Bill was read a third time and passed. The Cattle Branding* Bill, Education Repeal Bill, Dog* Nuisance Abatement Bill, Stock Regulation Bill, and Road

Bill were each read a second time, and passed through committee'. The Auctioneers 1 Licensing Bill was read a first time. Yesterday the Council went into committee on the Estimates- On resuming, the Chairman reported that no progress had been made. The Executive Council and Cattle Branding Bills arc printed in another part of' this paper; and the House unanimously agreed that other bills should be printed before they were read a third time and passed.
