WOOL AND SKIN SALE.
J Concerning the sale held last Fridav at Wellington, Murray, Roberts and Co. report:—We catalogued 60 babs wool,chiefly crutchingsand 2500 sheepskins to-day. There was a large attendance of buyers and competition was very keen throughout, especially for light conditioned skins, well saved, these showing an advance of a farthing per lb. We quote : Wool—Crossbred, fair to medium, 5d to sld per lb ; do. dingy and stained, 4d to 4fd ; crutch-. ings coarse, medium 3|d to 4|d ; do fine 4d to 4|d ; locks and pieces 2d to 3|d. Skins : Halfbreds, merinos s|d to 6fd ; super merinos up to 7|d ; fine crossbreds [super lots |d higher] s|dto 6|d ; medium fine crossbreds 5d to 6d ; coarse to medium do., 4|d to lambs 5d to 6d ; hoggets and~dead 3~4d to 4^d.
