The licensed victuallers of Wellington have decided to renew application for 11 o'clock licenses at the quarterly meeting of the City Licensing Committee, to be held on September 7th. Kawau Island, which is well known owing to the late Sir George Grey having resided there for many years, was sold by auction on Friday. Mr J. H. Fleming became the purchaser at L 9500, For Bronchial Cough, take Wood's Great Peppermint Cure, Is 6d and 2s 6d everywhere.
