ORANGE BLOSSOMS.
Last Wednesday afternoon a quiet but pretty wedding was celebrated at the residence of Mr R. J. Trewavas, J.P., the contracting parties being Mr Henry Green, son of the late Charles Green, and Miss Rachel Trewavas, second daughter of Mr Trewavas. The nuptial knot was tied by the Rev. Thomas Johnston in the presence of a large number offriendsof both families. The bride, who was given away by her father, was tastefully dressed in white figured silk, trimmed with chiffon and real lace, with the usual veil and orange blossoms. She was attended as bridesmaids by her sisters, Misses Ada and Isabella, both attired in figured cream repp, with lace and white silk trimmings. Mr Frank Trolove acted as best man. The gifts were as follows : Bridegroom to bride gold frosted bangle, bride to bridegroom gold watch guard with gold mounted greenstone heart initialled, bridegroom to bridesmaids gold bangle and gold brooch. The presents were both numerous and costl3 r . After the ceremony the guests were entertained by Mr and Mrs Trewavas, the newly married couple departing to their future home at Ngatinioti amidst a plentiful sprinkling of rice and with the good wishes of all.
