STOCK SALES. Christchurch, May 13. There was a smaller entry than u-ual at Addington to-day, and owing to wet weather the buyers present were fewer. Fat Cattle—226 head were yarded. The milk cows and heifers were only of moderate quality and for these there was a poor demand, but all of prime quality maintained late rates. Steers, .£6 5s to £lO 17s 6d ; heifers £5 15s to £9 12s 6d, cows £4 17s 6d to £9 12s 6d, beef 24s to 29s per lOOlbs. \ 2Fat sheep—There was a fail yarding and the entry comprised a good proportion of m-im a wethers and ewes suitable for freezing.
