MOTUEKA FOOTBALL CLUB.
On Wednesday evening the annua! meeting of this club was held, there being an excellent attendance of members. The chair was taken by Mr G. Boundy. The minutes of last meeting were read and adopted and the balance sheet presented was of a satisfactory nature. The election of officers was then proceeded with. President :G. W. Jenkins (re-elected). Vice Presidents F. J. Wilkes, R. W. Rankin, H. Gilbert, A. I. Manoy; Secretary and Treasurer H. Katene. Management Committee: Boundy, Cameron, L. Boyes, H. Park, F. Delany, L. Manoy. and M. Atkins! Selection committee, L. Boyes, A. Talbot and Petiha, Field Captain Petiha (re-elected), Deputy L. Boyes. Proposed by Mr Delany "and carried, That the Secretary write to the Riwaka Club challenging them to a friendly game to be played on the2slh instant, at Motueka. Proposed by Mr Manoy, seconded by Mr Cameron and carried That the club become affilHated to the Nelson Union. It was resolved that the Club send Mr Petiha as a delegate to Nelson for the purpose of arranging for matches ■-■to oe played in Motueka. The subscriptions were made the -=ame as last year, to be paid by the first of May. Thirty-two names were given in as intending members.
