The Borough Schools opened yesterday, when there was a moderate attendance of pupils. After this week the school will, no doubt, be in full swing. Mr Kiuger received from Herr Lehman n, the publisher of his memoirs, the sum of .£30,000, which is to be entirely devoted to the Boer aid funds. The first edition will be published simultaneously in German and English. In one year alone, said the Central London coroner, 1900 children left unj attended had been burned:
