The need of a daily postal delivery for Motueka district has been discussed of latd and it is probable the Government will be approached on the subject .shortly. In an important community such as Motueka is, the residents are certainly entitled to betterfacilities than at present exist and the local postmaster, Mr Gilbert, has for some time past been cognisant of the disabilities the people labour under. The only trouble is the arrival of the overland mail at a late hour of the day. This, however, can be rectified when fresh tenders are called fi-r the mail service at. the end of the present year.
