Green cut bone will make even moulting hens lay. It is now generally conceded that, this is absolutely the most perfect egg food known. Almost all our successful egg farmers use it, and we have known no one who hagiven it a proper trial to speak otherwise than well of it. At moulting time especially, not only will the eggoroducing elements keep up the yield, but that part of it that is of a fatty or oily nature will help materially to turn the birds out in good feather in the shortest amount, of time possible. A paddock .of wheat near Winchester has a fine crop of clover in it with the wheat. This clover was not sown bv the farmer, and last year the same paddock was also in wheat.
