Jackson and C ~ in conjunction with Messrs Abraham and Williams, repo7*t o l their sale at Johnsonville on Thursday last as follows :—A full yarding of bullocks* mostly .if prime quality. The bidding was slack'at the start, but improved towards the end of the sales. Beef was a little easier, making from 22s to 23s 6d ; best bullocks, £9 6s to £9 1 7*. 6d ; others £8 15s to L 9 2s 6d ; light sorts, L 7 10s to L 8 7s 6d ; cows JL6 7s 6d. -We had a fair yarding «,f sheep, including some heavy ewes. Bidding was slow. Prime ewes fetched 12s to 12s 6d ; others 9s 3 I to 10s ; ambs 10s Id ; others 7s 9d.
