Wellington, This Day. Messrs Thompson Bros report that during the week business has been good owing to supplies being shorter. There is an excellent demand for dessert apples, peaches, and plums. The ruling prices are :—Apples, Cox’s Orange, 10s to lis per case. Ribstone Us to 12s ; cookers, 4s to 5s ; peaches 8s to 10s ; plums, Pound’s seedling, 5s to 6s; quinces, 4s to 5s ; pears, dessert, 6s to 8s ; cookers 4s to ss.
