RIWAKA ROAD BOARD.
The ordinary monthly meeting of the above Board was held last night, all the members being present except Mr Holder.
Minutes of previous meeting read and adopted.
Letters were received from the County engineer re contract on 'Kaiteriteri road ; from Lands Department re progress pavment of ,£73 13s for Riwaka road ; also re proposed new road at Kaiteriteri.
The following accounts were passed for payment: —Bradley and Hicknvvfct .£63 3s 3d. H. N. cJo.k .£6 6s, W. Duncan 365, J. Bradley 12s, J. Cook 6s ; the iirst mentioned amount to be held until the work is passed. Proposed by Mr Fry and seconded by Mr James, That tenders be invited to complete the formation of the Bridle Track at Kaiteriteri from present formation to Tidal Creek, near Castles' residence—Carried.
Proposed by Mr James and sec mded by Mr Cook, That Messrs bYy and Cook make a final inspection of Messrs Bradley and Hiekmott's work on ts.iturnext, if fine. —Carried. W This concluded the business.
