—o To the EditorSir ■ Re suggestion made to reclaim the tidal flats which belong to the Motueka "Wharf Board, as an endowment. Personally, I should favor and support the idea if it can be put into effect by the present members of the Board, but what I want to know is whether the Board has any power to raise money to do the work if the ratepayers agree at. meetings to ask the Board to take the thing in hand. I am, etc., Progress.
