STOCK SALES. ■ Dunedin, December 30. At Burnside market today sixty six {at cattle wore yarded. The trade being supplied, it was difficult to sell at late quotations, despite the small entry. Best bullocks, .£ll to «£l2 12s 6d ; medium £9 15s to .£lO 17s 6d ; others to L 8 12s 6d ; medium L 6 5s to L 7 7s 6d ; others L 5 to L 6 2s 6"d; Fat sheep—343 were penned mostly shorn wethers, and a few pens of ewes in wool. In consequence of "the short supply, prices advanced by about 2s 6d per head. Best wethers, shorn, 20s to 22s 6d ; medium 18s 6d to 19s 9d others 16s 9d to 18s 6d ; shorn ewes, heavy, 23s ; good 20s to 21s 6d ; medium 17s to 18s 3d others 15s to 16 6d
